Kate was appointed as the CEO in MAY 2007, after more than 2 years in the Community, first as Remote Area Nurse then Health Coordinator. With almost 18 years in health, management and the arts in Indigenous Communities, Kate brings experience and a broad knowledge base to the role.

Kylie Fitowski
JET Creche Coordinator
After 12 months working with Outside School Hours Care and Sport and Rec, Kylie has commenced in the JET Crèche, providing valuable mentoring skills to staff. The Crèche is a hive of activity, providing safe, stimulating care to around 30 kids and parenting skills to mums and dads. The Crèche runs a Play and Learn program, which monitors growth milestones of the little ones and makes referrals to clinic where necessary.

Dianne has had extensive experience as an Administration Assistant and after further training has recently joined Centrelink. Along with other staff, she provides an essential customer service to the people of her Community.

Finance and Administration Assistant.
Sally provides expert assistance to the Finance Administrator and manages office matters in a busy and demanding environment. A valued member of staff, Sally demonstrates the best of `two way' learning, and is an advocate for education of young people to ensure the best possible future. In her spare time she nurtures 3 growing boys!

Aged Care Coordinator
Chrissy came to Gapuwiyak in 2005, having worked in smaller communities in a variety of roles. Chrissy joined the Women's Centre as the Aged Care Coordinator after volunteering in this role for a number of months. She provides valuable support to her team, and together they provide a Meals on Wheels Service and domestic support through the HACC program, and a popular Aged Care service under the CACP scheme.

Newsletter Coordinator, Drop-In Centre Supervisor
Susan has recently returned to the role of Women's Centre Supervisor, and brings the experience of many years as a senior health worker to her position.She monitors the needs of aged and disabled clients, making recommendations and providing`hands on' care. She assists the Coordinator in planning and data collection, and supervises staff and kitchen activities.
