Gapuwiyak Dhawu (Stories of Gapuwiyak) is a bi-monthly publication produced by Gapuwiyak Council. The first edition of the newsletter was released in November 2005 by Harry Wunungmurra, who is a local man and the Council Secretary. Harry received mentoring and training from the council Project Officer, Mindy Greenwood, and support from everyone in the community to get this issue out on time.
Harry has since moved on and Eunice Wunungmurra has taken his place. Eunice received some training from Mindy and is picking up her new skills quickly.
Eunice would love to print feedback, stories and photo's from anyone who sends them in. Please contact us if you are interested.
