As with other remote communities litter and rubbish trends to be a problem in the community. As well as a health issue it also is an eye sore and tends to have a depressing effect on commnutiy members. Under this element of CPA we will have volunteers to address the litter and rubbish issue and tidy up the commnutiy. They will maintain the equipment and be involved in providing education activities aimed at reducing the littering problem. We will monitor this by continually updating the pictures of the commnutiy so you can see how we are doing. We have entered the tidy towns competion and will let you know how we are going there as well

By undertaking this element ATSIS will provide funding to allow us to purchase equipment to address this issue.
